![]() On waking this morning, my mind was thinking about so many broken friendships and relationships among Christians. I was praying for healing and restorations, and committing everything to the Lord for His capable and restoring hands to heal and restore, and unite his Church. The prayer of Jesus for the disciples and the church, towards the end and before his crucifixion was “that they might be one as We are”. John 17:11 (NKJV) Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. I was thinking that in heaven, how will all the various Christians who have fallen out of friendship with one another here on earth, get on in heaven. As soon as I asked that question, I felt I hear the Holy Spirit said, ‘they will all live together in heaven’. In heaven there are no hatred, envy, jealousy, competition or strive. Hence as candidates for heaven it’s important that we all learn to get along while here on earth. The person you resent, hate or are angry with might be your neighbor in heaven. In heaven you can’t choose who you like or love, you have to love and like everyone. As people, each and every one of us is unique and different. Even identical twins have different personalities, likes, preference, taste and more; hence it’s important that we are patient and kind towards one another. As Christians and believers in Christ it’s important that we focus on what unite us which is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the one who died and rose again for our justification, the one who took away our sins and died for the sins of the whole world. For me I had to put into practice what I learn in my quiet time with the Lord, so I decided to visit St. Matthew’s Church. I attended the service, the central team of the sermon was about Mary & Martha, and how Martha though passionate about serving was sometimes angry with Mary her sister for not helping her. The nature of the service was quieter than what you will experience in a Pentecostal or Charismatic Church, but I found the service and the people very warm, welcoming, friendly, happy and joyous. I went there without any prejudice, pre-judgment, or expectations; as I approach the entrance to the Church, I said quietly to the Lord, “I am glad to be in the presence of the Lord and worship the Lord among his saints, and I surrender myself to you Jesus”. This act of trusting and surrendering to God gave me a different perspective, I find myself enjoying myself, the worship, the people, the sermon and everything. Jesus is clearly the central focus of the service and of what this Church was about. When we get to heaven, I don’t believe we will have wall of divisions between various denominations, it’s going to be One body of believers in Christ, One Lord Jesus, One God the Father, One Holy Spirit, One body of Christ. If heaven is truly a place you desire to live eternally with God, I will encourage you to start practicing the love walk, remove every criticism and judgment of other Christians and believers in Christ, and truthfully judge no one, but learn to walk in love. Jesus said Judge not. Luke 6:35-37 (NKJV) 35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. 36 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. Do Not Judge 37 “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

![]() Jesus Christ is the same today, yesterday and forever. If God healed yesterday, he wants to heal today, if God heal today; he wants to heal tomorrow and forever. Healing is a part of the new covenant promises for every one of God’s children. God want you well, and God want you healed.
Jesus said in John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly”. Jesus came so that we can have life, and to have life abundantly. The abundant life means: great amount of supply of life, health, wellness, and well being. Sickness, pain, and disease are not part of the abundant life. Jesus carried our sins and sickness on his own body and took it to the cross for us all, so that we do not have to carry sickness, and by the stripes of Jesus Christ the price for our healing was paid, and by His stripes we are healed. 1Peter 2:24 “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed”. The word of God is health to all parts of your body. As you feed your spirit with the word of God and meditate on it consistently, morning, noon and at night; the healing power in the word of God will flow into your spirit, and from your spirit to your body and entire being. There is life in the word. Isaiah 10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Thank you Father for the anointing of the Holy Spirit that destroys yokes, removes burdens, and sets the captives free; in the name of Jesus we activate the power of the anointing of the Holy Spirit right now, to flow and touch people at the point of their needs; no matter what the bondage or problems are; your anointing is stronger and more powerful to destroy and break the yokes off their life in Jesus name. I ask that the power and presence of the Holy Spirit will visit everyone, and make the presence of God very real to them, in their personal life, families, and circumstances in Jesus name. Isaiah 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? We command every bondage, oppression, sickness, disease, and heavy burden to be removed from God's people and their families. We plead and apply the blood of Jesus, we speak freedom and deliverance right now over God's people in Jesus name. We speak freedom and liberty to the oppressed, depressed, discouraged and the hopeless in Jesus name. We declare freedom and liberty over you and your loved ones in Jesus name. Jeremiah 30:8 For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: We command every yokes of bondage, failure, poverty, defeat, sickness and fear to be broken and removed from your life by the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen. ![]() The gift of discerning of spirit is one of the nine gifts of the Spirit in I Corinthians 12:10 It is so important to walk in the anointing of discerning or distinguishing of spirits. Practical Steps to Operating in Personal Discernment: 1. Ask God to give you the gift of discerning of spirits. When you ask believe that you receive by faith. 2. Begin to exercise your spiritual senses by the application of the knowledge and understanding you have received from God’s promises. Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. 3. The first person you have to discern is your own self. You know yourself more than anybody else does. 4. Be willing to do an honest personal evaluation of yourself in order to discern what is of God and what is not of God. 5. For instance at the end each day, you can take a sheet of paper and write down how you are feel, what thoughts, feelings and emotions you have been having or demonstrating during the day. Make a list of them. 6. Then analyze each one to see whether those thoughts feelings or emotions line up with God’s promises for you. 7. If any one of them doesn’t agree with God’s promises, then you know that you have to get rid of that negative emotions, feelings, and thoughts. 8. What you do first is to present yourself to God, apply the blood of Jesus Christ over your mind, spirit, soul and body, and ask that the presence and power of the Holy Spirit will be released afresh upon you. 9. Ask for forgiveness for any sin or omission, and ask for the grace and mercy of Jesus to be showered upon you. 10. Then go through your list, take each item or issue one at a time, renounce and reject the negative emotions by praying like these: For example, if the primary feeling was anger, you can pray like these: In Jesus name I repent for entertaining ___anger___ in my soul (be specific and name it), I release my mind, my soul, my feelings, my memory, my emotions, and by body from the influence of the spirit of ______anger_____(be specific and name it), in Jesus name I bind the spirit of ______anger_____, I command you to leave, and I caste you out from my feelings, emotions, memory, my conscious and subconscious mind, my body, I reject every negative signals and emotions, I have the mind of Christ, I have a sound and perfect mind in Jesus name. If your mind has been bombarded with series of negative thoughts pray like these: Heavenly Father, I come to you now in Jesus name, I apply the blood of Jesus Christ over my mind, my thoughts, my feelings, my emotions, memory, and over my soul, and my body. I refuse and I reject every negative thoughts of ________________(be specific), I caste down these thoughts from my mind, my memory, my conscious and subconscious mind. I have the mind of Christ, I have a sound mind. My brain is functioning in perfect alignment with God’s promises for me. I refuse every lies and tricks of the enemy, I disbelieve all lies and every negative suggestion, I only believe God’s report for me and others in Jesus name. I caste down, and I caste out every demon of torment, harassment, bondage or oppression away from me in Jesus name. I release God’s Holy Angels that have been assigned to carry out God’s will on my behalf, to go and bring it into physical manifestation for me, to stand guard and protect me now in Jesus name. When you pray these prayers, sometimes you may feel like yawning, or coughing, others may feel emotional and shed tears of relieve, it’s all okay, and they are just signs of freedom. Just say thank you Jesus for my freedom. Be diligent to go through your list and pray through each one following the above pattern. I have used this pattern for over twenty years, I have trained and helped many people who used to struggle with different emotional problems, and following these simple steps of personal evaluation and prayers has produced tremendous positive results. I will encourage you to use it and also help other people on how to be free from emotional problems, persistent negative thoughts and the deceptive brain messages. The keys to freedom are: Openness, Honesty, Repentance, Forgiveness, and Renunciations. If you can be open and honest with yourself, and are willing to put in practice consistently what you have just learned, you will experience freedom from long standing issues. ![]() This article is an excerpt from Esther Simeon's book, Clothed in the Right Mind - Whose Mind Are you Wearing?
